Feature Film - The captivating story of a young girl living in a Shuar community and dreaming of the feminine spirit of the orchard, named Nunkui, just like her. While her aunt teaches her songs and cultivation secrets, the vast Amazon jungle in which they live is handed over to transnational mining companies and evictions begin in the area. The premonitory dreams, the figure of her grandfather, an old Shuar leader, and a lush world of plants, animals, spirits, mark her journey into adolescence and the understanding of her place in the world.

Documentary Shorts - Born in Whitewood and raised in Saskatchewan’s Qu’Appelle Valley, Erroll Kinistino’s life and work are deeply rooted in the land, stories, and traditions of Southeast Saskatchewan.  Seeds We Bury tells the story of the Ati Tribe of the Philippines and the Shinnecock Nation of the United States, two indigenous island communities separated by oceans, yet united in the preservation of land, people, and culture.  When a migrant detention center (Alligator Alcatraz) is proposed in the Everglades, the Miccosukee tribe along with others fight against it.  In South to Freeedom, Florida, under Spanish rule, was both a sanctuary for those escaping slavery, and a threat to the Southeast’s slavery-based economy.  The Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, gifted not one, but five white buffalo calves (Waabishki Mashkode-bizhiki) to area tribal nations around present day North Dakota.  The Terry Lee Canoe Club, from Sts’ailes First Nation (Chehalis) , began decades ago as a family-based crew in Raised by the Canoe.   Kokum Dorothy's Story' is the powerful story of Dorothy (Sekan) Visser (nee Whiskeyjack), a First Nations elder from Saddle Lake, Treaty 6 territory, who was taken to an Indian residential school at age five.
